Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders 2018

The 2018 Mandela Washington Fellowship application opens on Wednesday, 13 September at 16:00 GMT/UTC.

Launched in 2014, the Mandela Washington Fellowship is YALI’s flagship program. It brings up to 1,000 African civic, business and community leaders aged 25–35 for six weeks of academic coursework, leadership training and networking at U.S. universities.

The four YALI Regional Leadership Centers — in Kenya, South Africa, Senegal and Ghana — train young leaders in leadership, entrepreneurship and professional development. They also provide a great place to network.

Through the YALI Network, young Africans can connect with other leaders in their community, access free online courses in topics ranging from climate change to entrepreneurship to human rights, and receive invitations to special events.

About

The Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) is a signature effort to invest in the next generation of African leaders. Nearly 1 in 3 Africans are between the ages of 10 and 24, and approximately 60 percent of Africa’s total population is below the age of 35.

Former President Obama launched YALI in 2010 to support young African leaders as they spur growth and prosperity, strengthen democratic governance, and enhance peace and security across Sub-Saharan Africa.

The application for the 2018 Mandela @WashFellowship for Young African Leaders is now open! Hurry!!!

Why You May Regret Choosing University of Ilorin as Your priority. Exclusive!

Some students are so keen about making University of Ilorin a must go school nowadays. Do you think because they started admitting high number of students couple of years back means they want all students to have their certificates and succeed? NO! Honestly, you won't find it funny when 12,000 students were admitted into 100L and 8,000 only cross to 200L. Where are the remaining 4,000 students?

Are you asking? Do not worry! You will know if you read this article till the end.
University of Ilorin is really worse compare to University of Ibadan or Obafemi Awolowo University in this particular case, because these 2 Universities will specify the amount of student they want and there is nothing like unnecessary rustication in 100L.
